Why Eight Steps?
I would like to see you rise above the negative perceptions, feelings and influences that are holding you back. I want you to find the freedom in life that I have found and I want you to find a successful team where people are willing to help one another. If you are willing to come along, I am willing to give you step-by-step directions towards financial freedom and personal success, a complete program called Eight Steps to Success.
Eight Steps to Success describes the actions that must be taken in order to experience success in business and in life. They are not "suggestions" to help you along. They are requirements, in my opinion, of anyone who wants to truly succeed. If you ask any successful businessman if he practices the Eight Steps to Success, he may tell you he has never heard of them, but if you ask him if he practices any one of the steps, he will certainly say "yes." In fact, these steps are likely at the core of what they do!
What follows is my personal story, the story of National Agents Alliance, which is the company I helped start, and it includes the roadmap that can put you on the path to wealth and freedom. I suggest you read this book with an open mind, and see the possibilities for yourself, and then decide whether you, too, have the desire to succeed and be financially free. Chances are, if you have purchased this book, the answer is yes. So, jump in and begin your personal journey to success!
Step Six - Be Teachable
People change when they want to change. If you change fast, that indicates you want to change. If you change slowly, that indicates you do not want to change. Being teachable means that you want to change and that you are willing to change fast. You are looking for something better. Put people in your organization who want to change and you will look like a genius. You have to become a good "finder" of people and a good judge of character. People will give you credit for changing people, and all you did was find people who wanted to change.
Speed up your growth. Be an accelerator. Time, money, and emotion are invested resources. The longer it takes you to change, the more time, money and emotion you are wasting. Do you want results in your life? Do you want to change your life? If the answer is yes, be willing to make the necessary sacrifices, to change, to invest your time, money, and emotions to achieve results.
Everybody loves an underdog, but you do not build a championship team with a team of underdog players. Everybody loves the movie Rudy, and everybody cheers when he gets into the game against Georgia Tech, but Notre Dame never won a championship with a bunch of "Rudys". You, too, will never build a winning team with all "Rudys".
