About Andy Albright
As the CEO of National Agents Alliance, aka The Alliance, some might find it surprising that Andy Albright lived in the same Burlington, N.C. farmhouse where he grew up until officially moving to Florida in December of 2019. Those who know Andy best, know he’s come a long way from a simple, young man from Union Ridge to make it to the top.
The road to success can take a detour. I tell people that I do not care if they come from Yale or jail; it is what you do from today that counts. I do not care if you are a redneck or a blueblood, its attitude that counts.
~ Andy Albright
Andy spent his youth working the fields, playing baseball, and dreaming of how he could improve his circumstances. Electing a path of education over professional sports, he graduated from NC State University with a degree in textile sciences. He would spend the next 11 years proving his leadership ability at textile companies such as Glen Raven Mills, Allied Signal, and Burlington Industries. That career might have been enough for some, but not Andy.
Everything changed when his wife’s health took a turn for the worst. With the family finances as they were, Jane had no choice but to continue her work as a school teacher through her illness. That was the last straw. From that point on, Andy vowed to do whatever it took to climb out of that situation. His opportunity came when he met future National Agents Alliance partner Philip Hudgins who was a manager in a life insurance-based business. Andy was so excited about Philip’s sales system that he insisted on learning about it right away. From that moment on, he was sold and never looked back.
Andy got his insurance license in 1998, co-founded National Agents Alliance in 2002, and was appointed as NAA’s CEO in 2006. Throughout it all, he’s been hard at work turning National Agents Alliance into the best company it can be. His favorite part about the NAA opportunity is that it empowers you to take control of your life. You can work as much or as little as you want and take charge of your own destiny. As he likes to put it, thanks to National Agents Alliance, he can, “Have fun, make money, and eat good.”
Despite how far he’s come, of course, Andy’s not one to settle. “I’ve never prayed for patience,” Andy says, “and I don’t anticipate I ever will.” Within the next five years, he plans to lead National Agents Alliance past the $1-billion mark and transform it into a full-fledged insurance company. In his never-ending goal for improvement, Andy advises his agents and employees alike to read, read, and read some more. Andy values reading so much that he gifts his NAA employees with a free book from his personal reading list every month.
There’s a difference between simple and easy. Simple means it’s not complicated. Easy means it requires no effort. These steps, like me, are simple.
~ Andy Albright
Andy Albright lived in the Burlington suburb of Union Ridge with his wife Jane, until December of 2019, when the couple took up residence in their newly finished Treasure Island, Fla. home. Their daughter Haleigh married Brandon Manley in June of 2019 and the couple lives in Raleigh, N.C. The Albrights’ son, Spencer is a student at North Carolina State University. The Albrights have five dogs.
Eight Steps to Success describes the actions that must be taken in order to experience success in business and in life. They are not “suggestions” to help you along. They are requirements, in my opinion, of anyone who wants to truly succeed. If you ask any successful businessman if he practices the Eight Steps to Success, he may tell you he has never heard of them, but if you ask him if he practices any one of the steps, he will certainly say “yes.” In fact, these steps are likely at the core of what they do!
Millionaire Maker Manual was written for people to be successful with National Agents Alliance and people are already singing the praises of Albright’s second book. It’s filled with more than 300 pages of training tips and tricks that Albright has learned over the years and applies to his business. Albright felt like he needed to write this book to help people learn and master the skills that have taken Albright to where he is today.
Inside The Circle was initially made available to members of The Alliance, who offer financial services through life insurance products through more than 15 insurance carriers, in July at one of the company’s two national events held annually in Burlington, N.C. at its corporate headquarters.
House of Values and Behaviors Company culture is an integral part of every business and organization. It affects nearly every aspect of the company. From selling, recruiting, and building, it’s the backbone of a positive climate. Within a positive corporate culture, many staff and agents find the real value in their work, and this leads to a variety of positive consequences for your bottom line.
Andy Albright believes all successful people are avid readers. He reads daily and encourages people to do the same. In an effort to help people, Andy has compiled a suggested book list for people to access and find great books to read.
