Imagine for a minute that you had access to a store that housed everything you needed to be successful. In this store there is a section filled with any kind of “belief” you can imagine. You have access to this stuff and are allowed to put these “beliefs” in your subconscious mind.

Would you pick success if you could? What if you could take this “belief” product and use it to guarantee success in life? If we could all adopt belief instead of carrying doubt in our minds, we would get more accomplished. What if we started walking, talking and acting like success was a forgone conclusion? What if we planned for success?

Now, what “belief” are we buying? Are going for the discounted kind or the big-time, brand name that costs more? What we choose to believe matters … a lot!

What you put in your head determines what actions you take. Words, music, thoughts all add up to and impact what you wind up doing.

Motivation matters. We all need to hear a pep talk from time to time. If it gets us motivated and we take action, then that’s good. If all we do is watch YouTube videos and read inspirational quotes, then that’s bad. We have to operate with urgency and know there are consequences for everything we do. I’m not a big fan of sitting and pondering something, when action will lead to a solution.

What you put in your head determines what actions you take. Words, music, thoughts all add up to and impact what you wind up doing.

Do you set proper expectations for yourself? Are you a person that sets a goal and then starts moving quickly? The law of reversibility states that you are more likely to act your way into feeling a particular way than you are to feel yourself into acting. Action is nothing more than deciding to do something. He who waits doesn’t get the job done. Waiting creates a weight that is a burden in a person’s mind that can be crippling over time. Making the decision to act is what takes you down the road to success.

If you are not putting the right “belief” products in your mind, it will be harder to be successful. Having a healthy self-belief is important. Those positive feelings tell you that you are capable of doing anything. Believing you can win big will help you overcome so many challenges and problems. But, it works both ways. Negative beliefs can hold you back.

Avoid negative talk at all costs. The words can’t and won’t are dangerous. Use positive words that encourage you and others.

People with healthy beliefs don’t worry about making mistakes. Mistakes are going to happen. How we react to those missteps is what matters. If you believe that you can reach your goals, then your mind operates on a different level. You see more opportunities, you have clear goals and you take action. When you approach a problem with a strong sense of belief, the solution is less daunting. You find solutions easier.

When the world sees that you believe in what you are doing, it makes other people better too. People pick up on your actions and words more than you think. Your belief level could help another person change their thinking for the better.

Little children don’t really know what they can or can’t do. They don’t place limits or expectations until later in life. That kind of child-like faith in adults can be empowering. I’m not saying be unrealistic about what you are doing, but know that you are capable of doing more than you probably think in your head. Celebrate successes and accomplishments. Get around people who have a healthy sense of “belief.” Align your thoughts, words and actions. If you do this consistency, you will be successful.

When we don’t stretch ourselves, we do not grow. Many of us exercise in an effort to be healthier or stronger. We have to do the same thing with our minds. Find ways to push yourself mentally in an effort to teach yourself that you can always do a little bit more.

Belief boils down to trusting, having faith or confidence in someone or something. If you think you can do something, then you are probably right. If you have the choice of being positive or negative, why would you ever pick negative? Being positive when it comes to what you believe you can do, can be the difference in it happening or not. If you know that your mindset is wrong, then you have to find a way to change where your mind is at.

How can I change my thinking? It starts when you wake up each day. Keep positive affirmation close to your bed. When you wake up, read positive words so you start the day off right. Listen to audios while you are getting ready. Make sure it is content from a person who shares similar beliefs to you. If you commit to making this a daily routine, then you will see improvement in your day-to-day activity.

If your heart is in the right place, your mind is full of positivity and your put in the work needed to succeed, then I believe that you will succeed. This is not a 50-50 proposition. You must be committed. You can’t sprint and then decide to walk and get the same results. Your belief level and your thoughts must stay on track to get the results you desire. You don’t get to pick and choose when you turn it on and off. You have to be consistent and dedicated to keeping the proper mindset and beliefs.

You should always bet on yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself, then why would anybody else believe in you? Operate with complete confidence that you are the person to get the job done, and know that you will get the job done.

That’s how confident I want you to be when you set a goal for yourself. Know that it will happen, and take action quickly. Give yourself a pep talk daily. I believe in you. I believe that you have the potential to be great. I want you to believe in yourself more than ever before. Get out there and make it happen!
