Merry Christmas version 2k10! Wow, I can’t believe another one has come and passed. But, it’s always awesome to get to spend time with family and friends.
I’ve spoken to several of you out there that are enjoying beautiful snow in North Carolina. Enjoy that and get on the sleds. Don’t be scared!
This is the time of year that I start to reflect and think about how grateful I am for my family and friends, but I also start looking at that calendar and see 2011 looking at me screaming, “Andy, are you ready for me?” That is when I am stoked to know that I took time over Christmas to get recharged, rejuvenated and fired up to smack January before it’s even ready for me!
I’ve spent the day enjoying time with my wife, Jane and the greatest two children — Haleigh and Spencer — in the world a man could ask for today and I know I am blessed.
This is the time of the year when you really have time to reflect on what’s gone on and you think about where you are in life. You think about all the variables in life and the people you’ve encountered and you just have to shake your head. It’s amazing and I’ve been so fortunate to run in so many different circles with many of you people are reading this blog.
I’m so thankful for my family, the many friends I have that are true, true friends and the opportunities that await me in 2011. It’s been a great year and I am so pumped about the journey ahead in 2011. It’s going to be fun and I can’t wait to see who comes on our journey.
This Christmas I’ve thought a lot about the people that were important I my life that are no longer with us, the people I love so dear and I’ve thought about the kind of people I’d like to meet from this point on.
It’s cool to watch Jane and the children open gifts because I love to watch the look on their faces. For me, it’s not so much the gift but rather the emotion and elation they have when they see what the gift is. It could be nothing or something in the box, but the way they approach it drives me and makes me smile. I know without them, I would not be where I am today. I have to thank them for that.
Spencer got his hockey goalie stick with “Evil” on one side and “Good” on the other. It’s this wild looking stick and so far it hasn’t allowed a goal! His first tournament test is this week in Charlotte and Jane will be there with him while Haleigh and I head down to Orlando, Fla. to watch the N.C. State Wolfpack take on West Virginia in the Champs Bowl. We will also hold a National Agents Alliance meeting while we are there. Miss Haleigh just finished celebrating her 16th birthday with a red GMC truck and for Christmas she got a Cannon Rebel camera to enhance her artistic talents. Can’t wait to see what kinds of pictures she’ll take.
My sweet Jane only asked for one thing this year: to toss her entire closet and go to New York City’s Bloomingdale’s with a personal shopper to help her replace everything! So, that’s what she gets. We will see how much she actually tosses out. The dates are not set but I expect to them be set and planned soon.
I got the best gift of all: spending time with Jane our children. Plus, I got tons of cool clothes they picked out for me.
I’d also like to tell all the people at our company, National Agents Alliance just how much our family appreciates them! You guys are the best and you will be the best in 2011. We love you guys and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
I hope you all had a merry Christmas, I hope Santa took care of you and I hope to see or talk to you very soon.
Whether you got snow or didn’t, I hope you had an amazing day and I hope you took time to enjoy the GREAT little things in life.
Another thing that stuck with me this week was this question: Who wants it? The opportunity National Agents Alliance offers people in this country is incredible. The system is set up for anyone who wants to make things happen fast. We want to identify WHO wants it. The people that WANT IT are going to quickly stand out with us! We need more success stories and we are curious to see who they will be in 2011!!!
The trips we’ll be on in 2011 are CRAZY – look for big-time roll outs coming this week from National Agents Alliance. You will see them and you will want to go … to all of them! Please get started early, it’s easier to win with a HEAD START!
We’re only three weeks away from our National Convention … anybody can find nine friends to go with them in three weeks … get on it and make it happen. We need you there, but we need you to find another future leader too.
I’m looking at all the snow on the ground here in North Carolina and it tells me the all the bad has been white washed out and now we’re ready to roll in 2011.
