Welcome to the official blog of Andy Albright!

To learn about me, click on the About tab at the top of the page. Feel free to visit my personal LinkedIn Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram networks. AndyAlbright.com is the best place to get the latest content I’m creating in an effort to bring you value and help you become more successful.

If there’s a topic you would like me to cover or address, please let me know via comment. I read all the comments and do my best to respond quickly. My goal through this blog is to create a wealth of info and words of wisdom that can help people from all walks of life. This is also a way for me to document the journey I’m on as an entrepreneur and businessman.

I’m trying to create a community where people can learn, share and help each other. I’m glad that you have ended up here, and I hope that you find value in the content I’m sharing on a regular basis. People know a lot, but as humans we are guilty of forgetting too. We all need to be reminded from time to time about basic principles and values that lead to success. Much of the content on my blog and site do just that for people. If I didn’t share my thoughts and ideas here, then I can’t reach as many people. The purpose of my content is based in positivity and helping others.

I’m very blessed to have a great wife and family, a thriving business and the opportunity to travel the world. I don’t take any of that for granted, and I am doing my best to give back to people. If you can help people, then you are making a difference in the world. It sounds so simple, but a lot of people don’t practice giving back when they have the chance to. It’s not always easy, but it is always the right thing to do.

I started National Agents Alliance, aka The Alliance, in 2002. It has been a fun ride to take this thing from my basement in the house I grew up in and live in now in Union Ridge outside of Burlington, N.C. to where we are now. We are far from done, and I can’t wait to see where we go from here.

What we do through life insurance is important because it helps people. I love the fact that we help families make sure things are taken care of when a loved one passes away. I’ve seen the impact of the products we offer can have when the “unexpected” happens to a family. These products reduce the burden and stress involved with the death of a loved one. Often times, the insurance allows families to grieve and not be burdened with financial problems and expenses that come with funeral arrangements. It might not be fun to think about or talk about, but it is important.

So who am I?

I’m a proud graduate of NC State University, and author of The 8 Steps to Success, Millionaire Maker Manual, Inside The Circle and The Alliance House of Values and Behaviors. I’m involved and support numerous charities and organizations.

Several years ago I started really trying to give back to my alma mater. We heavily support the Albright Entrepreneurs Village (AEV), a place for NC State students who want to learn to think like an entrepreneur. The AEV is a residential community on Centennial Campus that involves residents from all majors and provides social and co-curricular activities to engage them in the startup world and encourage them to develop their ideas and ventures. This diverse group receives coaching from successful entrepreneurs and immersion in the programs that help students translate ideas into action.

In November of 2016, Jane and I pledged a $5 million gift to bolster both the NC State Entrepreneurship Initiative and the General H. Hugh Shelton Leadership Center. In honor of this extraordinary commitment, Innovation Hall — which opened on Centennial Campus in 2014 — is now known as Andy and Jane Albright Innovation Hall. One component of our gift is an endowment for the Albright Entrepreneurs Village, a Living and Learning Village we previously established. NC State’s Living and Learning Villages are interest-based communities that engage students inside and outside the classroom.

I am a member of the advisory board for NC State’s Entrepreneurship Initiative, a member of the advisory board for the NC State University Engagement and a loyal supporter and major donor of Wolfpack athletics. I’m also a motivational speaker for various groups and organizations. I am passionate about helping mentor entrepreneurial-minded students and aspiring job creators.

My company, National Agents Alliance, aka The Alliance, is one of the country’s largest and most successful insurance marketing organizations, specializing in life event marketing and sales. I’ve appeared in regional North Carolina magazines and newspapers, and our company was selected from a pool of 35,000 area businesses as the N.C. Triad’s Fastest Growing Company by Greensboro’s Triad Business Journal in 2007. I was named to the Triad’s 2011 Movers & Shakers list by Business Leader magazine, and I’ve appeared on several national radio shows. In 2018, I was privileged to be named “Man of the Year” by the Boy Scouts’ Old North State Council.

In 2019, my family agreed to serve as the lead donors for the Albright Sports Medicine Center in the Murphy Center at Carter-Finley Stadium at NC State in Raleigh, N.C. This center will provide a boost to the football team in terms of recruiting and taking care of the Wolfpack’s student-athletes. This was another big commitment by my family, and we are so proud that our name will be on this first-class facility.

Outside of our support of NC State, we love charities like Victory Junction, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. and many, many other groups that need our help. We plan to do more with charities and we will moving forward.

Jane and I have two children – Haleigh Manley (NC State graduate and MBA graduate) and Spencer (student at NC State).

Thanks for visiting and I’m looking forward to your comments!

As a new NAA agent, and a Burlington native, I find Andy’s story inspirational. When you see and hear Andy, Barry, John and the others, it has to inspire you. You don’t have a choice, you WANT to be a better and more successful person after hearing them. As a friend of mine says “If that don’t light your fire, your wood must be wet”.

We are looking forward to having a signed copy of your book, when it is ready. The saying that the busiest people know how to manage their time to get everything done is shown by you being able to have the time to write a book with all you do. The feelings we get reading your words and listening to you speak is hard to put into words. You amplify the word successful. Thanks very much for the blogs and for the archive’s. It is must read for all.
We loved it all. You make it so success so attainable.
Thanks so much for caring so much. We will build those roots down!

    Hey Andy,

The TWC was awesome today as always, I am so fired up about the new levels, thank you Andy.. See you in Chicago next Thursday and then at AA School in June…!

I just wanted to let you know Gerald Brubaker was amazing today in training! He took the time to get to know everyone and show them how much he cares as he was teaching us about the new levels and to how to move to TB and KL.. It was awesome the way he transitioned from the TWC to the TEAM.

He also help new agents with FX door knocks or door knocks in general, Gerald demonstrated every last detail from pulling up to the home, the famous door knock, walking in the door, sitting at the table and handling objections…

Also he made live phone call on FX and DML’s teaching us how to handle objections and book appointments.. Then he asked us questions and answered any questions we might have….

    Gerald was Awesome…!!!!

Thanks again Andy for the amazing system you put in place..!

I was watching TWC from 5/31 and you said “what’s in it for me? There should be a country song called that.” There is one close to it and made me laugh. It’s called “I Wanna Talk About Me by Toby Keith.” Just a funny thought.
